Allergy & Medical Information
Kidago keeps safety information with the child’s record so authorized staff can review it during care and attendance workflows.
Add an allergy
Open Children, edit the child, and use the allergy section to select a type and enter a clear description. Available types include food, medication, environmental, contact, and other allergies.
Write operationally useful information: the allergen, observed reaction, and the action staff should take. Do not use the general notes field as a substitute for a structured allergy record.
Maintain accurate information
Remove an allergy record only after the change has been verified under your organization’s health-record process. Review safety information with guardians regularly and after any reported reaction.
Medical information is sensitive. Access is controlled separately from ordinary child-record access, and medication administration is a distinct permission. Give access only to staff who need it for their duties.
During attendance
Authorized app users can see allergy and medical information associated with the selected child. Staff must still follow your written care plan, medication authorization, emergency procedure, and applicable licensing rules.
Reporting
The Children Enrollment report includes allergy information. The Immunization Compliance report supports health-record review. Exported files contain sensitive personal information; store and share them according to your privacy and retention policy.
